I am passionate about raising standards in education. I have worked at St Mary’s C.E Primary School in Moss Side for 20 years (10 years as Deputy Headteacher) and was part of a dynamic leadership team that guided the school from special measures to an OFSTED grading of Outstanding.

In January 2023, I was appointed Headteacher of Chorlton C.E Primary School. I have been a Trustee of Big Life Schools for 5 years and am aware that the strategic role and core function of the board is: to ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction; to hold leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils and the performance management of staff; overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure its money is well spent.
